For fingerprints or grease marks, use a little dish soap diluted in warm water, never concentrated. Always dry after cleaning: standing water on the edges is the primary cause of long-term problems.
What not to do
Never use acidic products like white vinegar or descaler, even diluted, as they attack the lacquer. Avoid scouring pads, Scotch-Brite pads, and abrasive powders. Never use a steam cleaner on the fronts; the steam forces its way into the veneer joints and can cause delamination. Also, avoid multi-surface sprays with strong alcohol or solvents.

The edges
