Lyon is a city where interiors matter. The people of Lyon take their living spaces particularly seriously: golden stone apartments in the Croix-Rousse, family houses in the Beaujolais, contemporary renovations in Part-Dieu or Confluence. This taste for noble materials and durability is exactly what Jacamar offers.

FAQ and regional coverage
1. Lyon and its region: ideal ground for genuine wood
That seriousness shows in Lyon renovations: the old terracotta tiles are kept, the golden stone is uncovered, things are repaired rather than replaced. Kitchen fronts benefit from following the same logic.
2. Delivery to Lyon: practical arrangements
Our fronts leave our Transylvanian workshop with DB Schenker and arrive in Lyon in one week on average after dispatch. Delivery by appointment, to your doorstep: the carrier arrives with a tail-lift truck and a pallet jack and sets your order down on the pavement, in front of your building or house. Carrying it up into your home is up to you: plan for two people. Total lead time from your confirmed order: allow 6 to 8 weeks for production, plus one week for delivery on average.
| Stage | Lead time |
|---|---|
| Quote once we have your measurements | 48 hours |
| Production | 6 to 8 weeks |
| Transport to Lyon | One week on average |
| Coverage | All of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, same lead times |
3. The Lyon projects we love
In the buildings of the Presqu'île, kitchens are often small but full of character. Jacamar natural oak works beautifully with old parquet floors and exposed stone or brick walls. In the new buildings of Confluence, dark oak or honey oak make their mark with a strong architectural presence.
The workshop's advice
In the old apartments of the Croix-Rousse, measure the clearance of your staircase before ordering tall unit fronts. The spiral staircases of the old silk workers' buildings do not take panels over two metres well. Tell us when you request your quote: we can split a tall unit into two stacked fronts rather than one, without changing how the whole reads.
Lyon FAQ
Do you also deliver to the Rhône, the Isère and Savoie?
Yes. DB Schenker covers the whole Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Grenoble, Chambéry, Annecy, Clermont-Ferrand: the same lead times, the same quality of delivery.
Conclusion
Lyon or Transylvania: the distance does not change the quality of what we deliver to you. Since 1865, Jacamar has made genuine oak with exacting standards.
