The product

MIEL oak veneer sample, reference S-1115

The name says exactly what the colour is: honey. A deep, luminous gold, warm without heaviness, that gives a kitchen immediate presence. It is our most assertive warm shade before the browns.

Screens render wood differently depending on their calibration, and a photo never shows how a matt lacquer catches the light. That is exactly what this sample lets you check.

What you can judge

The intensity of the gold depending on the orientation of your room, how it pairs with a light worktop or a stone splashback, and how legible the grain is on a rich background.

Specifications

Genuine oak veneer, each sample has its own grain.
19 mm high-density MDF core, 750 kg/m³.
Three coats of matt lacquer, spray-applied in the workshop.
Water and stain resistant surface.
European short-run manufacturing.

Compare it with BORSANI, more restrained, if you are unsure how warm to go.
